When we expect to start seeing the infield starters get a day off? I know Phillips, Rolen, and Votto are all about due for a day off.

Everyone just had a whole day off this past Thursday and it wasn't even a travel day (they came home from Pittsburgh the night before that). I don't think Dusty needs to worry too much about that until a little further into this long stretch of games. I can see Janish spelling Cabrera and Rolen sometime soon and maybe Joey too at some point if necessary. IIRC, Dusty said Rolen would have gotten yesterday off if the game hadn't been against the Cards with both teams vying for first place.

Let's kick some Brewer behind tonight!!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Two day games in the next four days. Rolen will get rest, as will Cabrera most likely. Hopefully Janish starts both of those days. I think Heisey will give Gomes a day off, too. He's been playing a ton with Nix out.

Does Casey McGehee's last name bother anyone else?

Escobar gets a 3B. Bruce dove but couldn't get it.
