    Schedule fairness?

    Reds have already had a stretch of 20 games in 20 days that is now a stretch of 33 games in 34 days.

    Trips west

    (3) Reds: April 8 to Arizona/SD, June 9 to SF/LA, September 9 to COL

    (2) Cards: April 8 to SF/AZ/LA, May 23 to SD/COL


    Travel days

    The Reds played yesterday and traveled to San Francisco to play tonight.

    The Reds played at home on Thursday, April 7, and traveled to Arizona to play the next day.

    The Cards played Wednesday, April 7, and got a travel day to San Francisco before playing on Friday.

    The Cards played Wednesday, May 25, in the middle of a swing out West, and got Thursday off before playing on Friday in Colorado.

    Roadtrips

    The Reds had a 10 game roadtrip in May...without a day off before the trip started or when it ended.

    The Cards had a 10 game roadtrip in April and had a day off before the trip started and after it ended.

    Interleague games/opponents winning %

    Reds: 18 (.563)
    Cards: 15 (.500)
    Brewers: 15 (.466)

    The Reds 3 extra games than the Cards are vs Yankees

    Stop WHINING. If you can't beat the Yankees how do you expect to win the WS? Sounds like you don't have much confidence in your team

    What's funny Rays fans are saying the same thing about the Yankees. Rays have to play the Cardinals while the Yankees get to play a weak team like the Reds.

    Reds have the easier schedule. The Cardinals have to play us 15 times while we get 15 games against them.

    To be fair no one expected the indians to be where they are right now. The schedule is what it is. Anytime you have a schedule of 162 games with 30 teams there are going to be inequities. This team just needs to focus on winning series like it did last year. Also note that the teams are going to give the reds their A game this year knowing the reds win their division last year.

    the reds should have looked at that when they went 1-5 against the pirates and 2-5 against arizona that is their problem
