    Bernadina has been BABIP-unlucky today

I personally just can't wait to see Wilson Valdez pitch one of the later innings.

    He's a good defender, I don't know what that's all about.

Prolly just safer since he looked good in his first inning of work. If we're gonna win this game we'll have to pitch the bottom of whatever inning, so we gotta save Marshall for that I would think.

The malodorous stench of "walkoff" permeates the crisp April air.

Why in the HELL would we let Arredondo pitch 2 innings, we got lucky with the 1st good one, why push it???

If he did, it's a joke. But, then Sportswriters actually know very little about the game. They used to think Alex Rodriguez was an excellent Shortstop, when he never ever reached "average" status defensively. Sportswriters notoriously fall in love with a player's Offense, and repeatedly transfer that talent into believing the same guy plays better defense than he actually does. I never once in my life did what Zimmerman just did on three plays in that inning. That effort by Zimmerman was a combination of "I don't have to play defense because I can hit" along with "stupidity" as only someone really stupid would ever try to "stab" at a ball when there's plenty of time to move in front of it, in addition to Zimmerman simply having never been able to play Defense because anyone who ever did even for a little while in their lifetime would never make piss-poor attempts like the ones Zimmerman made.

It's 0-2 on a Reds hitter right now.

    a strike - THROW ONE.
