    We're good again!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Finished watching the game; My random thought... These day game uniforms look downright sharp, especially today for some reason. I wouldn't mind seeing that made as their primary home game uniform.

I wouldn't want to see them as the primary uniform, but I wouldn't mind if they mixed it up a little and wore them at night occasionally (and wore the whites during the day). I also would like to see them wear the red jerseys for an occasional road game.

I agree but the MLB says the night game uniforms must be all one color.

Not true. The Brewers often wear their blue jerseys for night games.

I though there was an MLB rule that stated that somewhere, but wasn't positive about it.

Cool to see some giddiness in the game thread. Me too. I try to keep an evil keel, but at this stage, I'm sure I share a lot of RZers uneasiness after the meltdown last night going into today's game. Fortunately, our guys just go out and do their job, which most days is enough for the pitching, hitting and defense.

Order restored, nice comeback by Broxton after a slow start, last FB was 98 baby.

Oh, and a HUGE tip of the cap to Leake. Can't get the light hitting Phillies out, but shuts down the Cards. Go figure.

And another thing, just for Al Hrabosky (from last night's game thread), exactly what statement was made last night?
