    This was a satisfying win.

    7-2 post-Votto.

I was hard on him tonight, but I gotta give some credit to Cozart too for getting it started in the 9th.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

True Dat. Nervous Nellie tonight. Wanted that 2.5 game lead bad. Now I want the sweep.

Pirates fans have to be PO'd.

I bet they had already penciled in picking up a few games by now. (While Votto on DL)

Take your time Joey, no hurry.

If there is a silver lining to Votto's injury, it's that the Reds found themselves as a team.

I would have been right if not for the comeback

Since my in-laws are Pirate fans, you should have heard them when Joey went down. So daggone confident and obnoxious. Haven't heard from them in days.
To them, teams outside of Pittsburgh have to be inferior because black and gold are superior. Yeah, right.

Stubbs HR tonight was awesome. The Reds still need to replace him before the 31st.

I don't believe in the old "team of destiny" chestnut. I don't even believe in destiny. But nights such as this give me pause.
