It sucks to have to play in a real ballpark.
JB's fly ball was maybe 350 in left center it would not be out of any MLB park.
This offense was slumping a bit before the west coast swing, little surprise it is really slumping now playing in these parks sans the Monday game.
They simply don't hit well.

Maybe because this is how it's been for the past 18 years that I've been following this team and my patience is about nil? and YOU probably don't have the added joy of listening to cardinals fans day after day after frickin' day.
Actually almost all my family are Cards fans and this year they can not say a darn thing. I still think that when it is all said and done we win the division. I understand how things have been done with this franchise for a long time. But i think with the signings and trades that we made this offseason that it is obvious things have changed.
When you have outs at the top two spots in your order, it's going to be difficult to score much. Right now Cozart is an out and Stubbs is an abomination.
IF I was manager I would go with the following line-up for the SD series:
Phillips 2b
Cozart SS
Votto 1b
Bruce RF
Frazier 3B
Ludwick LF
Heisey CF
Hanigan/ Mesoraco C
keep the no-hit wonders Rolen and Stubbs for defensive replacements and pinch-runner duty.
He's our CF....why wouldn't he be there. Petco is huge....gotta have him in CF to win.
