To take Stephen Hunt's place, Dominic D'Anna was activated from the disabled list. He has yet to play in a game this year.

Hope this means more time in LF for Lutz with D'Anna at 1B.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

It should. I'm eager to see D'Anna back in action. He was an all-star at Dayton last year before he got hurt.

Wish it was Lutz getting promoted to AA instead of Hunt. LF seems to be open there. (LaMarre in CF, Fellhauer in RF)

But it would make no sense to move Lutz up while Hunt is hitting all of .197... come on now

Odds are they called up someone to be a back up. You aren't going to call up Lutz to fill that role.

To accomodate Jake Johnson returning to Dayton, Jimmy Moran was sent down to "Billings".

In an interesting turn of events, the Reds have traded catcher Koyie Hill to the Chicago Cubs.

Cubs Acquire Koyie Hill From Reds
By Zach Links [May 19 at 1:37pm CST]
The Cubs have brought back catcher Koyie Hill after acquiring him from the Reds in exchange for cash considerations, tweets Carrie Muskat of MLB.com. Hill will be with the club for tonight's game against the White Sox.

Hill, 33, was hitting just .195/.250/.341 for the Reds' Double-A affiliate so far this year. The veteran spent the previous five years with the Cubs and hit .208/.270/.295 in 252 big league games.
The Reds signed Hill to a minor league deal in late April after he was let go by the Cardinals.

Brian Peacock was demoted from AAA to AA to take Hill's place. No corresponding move announced for bats - I'm guessing a free agent/indy league filler guy.

The Reds signed Joey Gathright and sent him to Louisville to take Chris Valaika's roster spot. Kyle McMyne was promoted to Bakersfield to take the spot of Ryan Kiel, who was placed on the disabled list. Called back up to Dayton was Jimmy Moran

I've counted multiple times and I still get 24 on the Bats' roster. Am I crazy?
