I hope the Reds pony up for Cisco. He looks like he'll be worth the money.

    Closer with 0 saves.

He was actually Vandy's middle/long guy and sometime midweek starter. They were expecting more from him this year. Decent stuff for a shorter-type guy.

    Whoops .

I guess I saw that he had a few saves in his junior season. Good catch.

He's got comments on the MLB.com draft tracker. A two-sport star. Waldrop's said to be the type of HS hitter that could hit the ground running and move quickly. Average or better tools across the board, with power the best chance to stand out.

    Might be a tough sign.

I know high school numbers don't mean much, but I found some for Kyle Waldrop:

    Code:
GP Avg PA AB R H RBI 2B 3B HR
    25 .506 102 79 46 40 34 7 2 8
    His page (http://www.maxpreps.com/athletes/zla...le-waldrop.htm) also shows a .618 OBP and a .949 SLG.

Edit: He was also 21/21 on stolen bases.

Indians drafted a pitcher named Michael Goodnight - has closer written all over him, no?

If I'm not mistaken, 6-foot-8 Logan Ondrusek was also a 13th-round pick a few years back.
