    Good grief, man. Lighten up.

Surely you can recognize the difference in giving up six runs in one game and giving up none in 22 others rather than giving up one run in 12 of 27 games.

Because that's the whole point: half of Broxton's earned runs were given up in one game of 27. That means he's been doing the job well for most of the other 26.

Everyone has a really bad game. Just because a guy gives up six runs in one game doesn't mean it should override the other 26.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Kozma pops one to the right along the foul line and he's on with a double.

I agree with Brutus, to an extent. RP population sizes are so small that one weird outing can completely skew their total numbers. And that one outing may not be at all representative of the season they are having.

Smoltz had a similar outing years back and it took the entire season for his numbers to catch up. The fact that Brox's ERA isn't much higher is pretty good.

Blast to left field, and the Cards are down to the final out.

For sure, I don't really disagree with the premise of the post and I think he'll get it straightened out.

It just looked funny to read lol

The odds of you facing Beltran this or any other inning is very small.
