EE and Homer Bailey to the Marlins for Dan Uggla and then move him to 3B?

not worth talking about. Marlins wouldn't trade Uggla and I wouldn't trade Bailey. Bailey is going to be very good

NO
No. We have enough guys that hit .260, strikeout 130 times and hit 25-30 hr potential. We need some guys who can put the ball in play, make consistent contact, along with drawing some walks and playing some serious D.
No but I wouldn't hesistate to trade Bailey if we got a high impact veteren in return. Other than that, hang on to him.
I would have to say no. As much as I too get frustrated by Edwin, he's still 3 years younger than Uggla and I would have to feel inconsistencies and all he would still be [B]much[B] better defensively at third in terms of range and saving us and our pitchers hits and runs. Yes he's had his problems, but of late he's been pretty danged stellar in the field. Offensively he's frustratingly streaky, but he's still a year or two from even entering his physical prime years too.
Would never happen...but
i would do it.

Skip: That was four years ago, Jack. Last season, you hit .235.

Yeah..........cause we should judge a guy on a 168 OPS over a 2 month span, then move him to a spot where's he's never played before. And add one of our best young pitchers into the deal too. Good hitting 3b win world series championships, right? Arod has a number of them.

Economics would dictate that trade too.We got two players with contracts we can afford. And I doubt Uggla would stick around for the change we would offer him.
Uggla is a Great Player, but I am in the thinking that Bailey is going to be LIGHTS out for this team the rest of the year, and for years to come... Now, why don't we think of how to trade Edwin for something... I remeber when Joe Crede was available for little to nothing in Spring Training... I was hoping the Reds would make a deal for him, but they were too busy outbidding themselves for Corey Patterson services...
Before throwing these type of deals out there you have to ask yourself, would the opposing team even consider? In this case no. Marlins are winning and Uggla is a big part of their offense.
