Good inning

Excellent first inning by Volquez. Two K's and a weak groundout.
I agree that the ump seems to have a tight strikezone tonight.
Marty commented that a plaque is waiting for Chipper in Cooperstown. Do you guys think it's a sure thing he gets in? I know he's a very good player...I'm just not sure I consider him a "great" player.
Willy starts the inning with a single up the middle.
Despite all the groaning and moaning about Taveras' signing...color me impressed.
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, Willy T is on his way to a MVP season.
Tough tandem to steal on: Vazquez is quick to the plate and Ross has a very solid arm.
Why is Dickerson attempting a sac bunt in the first inning?
Ugh. Dickerson looked bad.

Chipper's career line:
310 .407 .548 409 HR 1378 RBI,
There's a Ross gaffe. WT to 2B

Vazquez's CH has the Reds hitters WAAAAY out in front.
Ross is a Reds spy sent to destroy the Braves from inside.
