I hate the Cubs...but in a weird way, I do miss Harry. He was entertaining in a drunken stupor sort of way. And the way he just randomly threw in somebody's name spelled backwards right in the middle of a conversation for no reason what-so-ever...just cracked me up.

Harry was different before the stroke, but I liked both. He just announced for two teams I hated.

Can't blame 'em. The Rockies season is a joke.

They do seem resigned to that fact....not even expecting home wins, just want the Rox to score a few more runs.

I watched him mostly prior to 87. So the stuff I mentioned were all before the stroke.

As for the Reds ninth --Stubbs struck out and Valdez singled. One on, one out, and Bruce up.

Valdez with a one out hit in the ninth. Wilson V has grown on me, he's played well.

Bruce is now up against a lefty pitcher. Hopefully, as the Reds go home, Jay will re-discover his hitting stroke.

    Jay fans.

My EI feed is breaking up. But the Reds are still winning so I guess it's ok.

Unique. Good diction, had a habit of saying the strikes first on the count (2 strikes and one ball), and pretty enjoyable. When he got to Chicago, and with the health problems, he sounded drunk all the time, but I still liked listening.

I'm not getting upset during these games anymore. It's really a great way to watch baseball.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.
