Some think it was simply a QB difference.

So now you're arguing it's simply the difference at QB?

Nope! I'll leave that to someone who is more informed than I...

I think the difference between a #4 and a #17 is huge... To me a better question is whether BSU is truly a #4 or not....

If you switched Bauserman and Moore, yes, Ohio State would be better than Boise. I would up that to easily better once everyone is eligible.

I wouldn't go that far Ohio State is very young on defense. But yes the difference between Moore and Bauserman accounts for much of the difference.

Nah, sorry. OSU is very inexperienced at WR. Routes aren't precise, hands aren't as good, and when they do get open, they get happy feet. Boise has experienced and capable receivers which makes Moore look even better. OSU has talent, but they sorely need seasoning. Stoneburner is the only reliable receiver and anyone who has watched their game films knows that and doubles him up. Posey is good, yes, but he's all tatooed up and ineligible.

17-6 Miami at the half. But I'm hopeful for the 2nd half. Buckeyes need to keep running the ball. I'm afraid that the Miami QB Harris will be the difference though. Night games on the road are rough.

Not looking too good here. I just keep hoping that Hall will return a punt for a TD. I think Bauserman may be the worst QB in college football. His footwork is atrocious and he has horrible vision downfield. On top of that, his accuracy is poor. Fickell needs to live with Miller and live with some mistakes because Bauserman is not going to be able to help them beat good teams

That's for sure. He gave up on his players at the end of game. You don't get to cash those TOs in for later use. Give the Def a breather, slow MIA OF a bit, and save some time.

Ohio State has the single worst QB situation possible. Bauserman is who I thought he would be, Miller is playing like a Freshman. This is going to be a bad stretch of games. Prepare for a middle of the season that will make you remember 2004 fondly.

Yeah, I think he proved he's not ready for prime time. Deer in the headlights. Completely mismanaged the whole QB fiasco for the whole second half and how they finish the game with 3 time outs with a gassed defense, I just don't understand. The guy just isn't ready for this job.

    Dear Joe Bauserman,
Thank you for the time and contributions you have put into the Buckeye football program. That said if you ever take another meaningful snap in your career Luke Fickell should be fired before you get back to the sideline.
