Navarro is better right handed. Presumably he is bringing in a righty to switch Navarro around.

Not sure who is coming in.

2009 to 2011, Navarro was .190 against righties.

Yeah, Rodriguez probably could have pitched thru 8 and then handed it off to Hanrahan in the 9th. Their pen is good, but not lights out.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Stubbs or Paul. Bruce is like 2 for 30 against Rod. He does not pick the ball up against him for some reason. Stubbs or Paul would have a better chance, even Paul as a left hander. My first pick would be Stubbs.

Right now I would use XMan for Navarro.

Stubbs does have a career .861 OPS against Wandy.

Navarro continues to reward the Reds' faith in him over Mesoraco.

I didn't intend to argue that Stubbs was a bad choice. Was just asking.

Me, I would have played Bruce like Dusty did. Jay's had a lot of big hits against lefties. I don't buy that he can't hit Wandy. Some times these things turn around.

So, there is a scoring play and no one explains what that play was.... I'm blind here!
