This Ludwick thing is starting to have a grassy knoll quality.

    Where's the second shooter?

    After Cozart is almost there.

The no slide on Bruce is just stunning baseball....Joey was definitely calling for it.

Okay, time for Cueto to get one more out before this gets out of hand

Cueto might have had a K on that last batter. One of those ball calls was tough.

Then Johnny threw two high ones.

    Never a dull moment.

He did, but did you notice where Cozart was prior to that. In the pic I posted you can see Cozy racing toward 2nd as Ludwick is not going towards third.

Is that where the confusion lies...people aren't realizing Cozart forced Ludwick to take off to 3rd?

Homeplate ump didn't give him a check swing strike either - thankfully the appeal went his way.

Impressed with Cueto's control today, thought that would be rusty. The one walk aside this inning, which you can probably attribute to fatigue.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Of course Ludwick didn't run - he was watching Bruce NOT sliding!
