    Maloney K's the side again!

His last seven outs have came via the strikeout.

That's great to hear. Lefties that throw 88 mph with a nasty curveball can get by in the majors. Rich Hill does it. Barry Zito. Noah Lowry.

BTW, Votto just singled. He's 1-for-2 with a single and walk.

Did Dickerson get hurt, or were the Reds so disgusted with Ellison that they decided to DFA him and call Dickerson up?

Danny Dorn is 2-2 for the Lookouts who trail 4-0.

And now Maloney comes out in the 5th and walks two awful hitters (sub .200 average for both). He doesn't have any command tonight.

Maloney has to be in Cincy for his next start. It's a longshot that he's ready to give us a consistent quality effort but he's got a better shot than the Lizard does.

    So much for that.

    3 run homer given up.

Wow, so much for calling up Maloney. He walked two sub .200 hitters and then allowed a 3-run HR to .203 hitting Dane Sardinha.

10th strikeout in 4.1 innings. His last eight outs have been via the strikeout.
