    We need Carlos Gonzalez

Hits for power and average. Not ot mention he is a GG winner.

I would part with Bruce, Bailey and Stubbs to get this guy. There is concern with his knee...but, man the Roxs may just go for this offer.

Bailey is average and will always be an average ML pitcher. But, he does have enough potential to sell this trade. I understand Bruce is the golden child...but, reality is he hasn't improved much in the last 3 years. Throw in Stubbs and we have the premiere LF in the NL. Heisey can play center and Ludwig can play right. Gonzalez will protect Votto and Phillips can drop down to 5th spot. I know Dusty doesn't like Lefty-Left in 3-4 hole....but, we would be a much powerful lineup. Gonzalez and the short porch at GABP...perfect storm for 50 homers.

You might want to take a peak at his home/away splits. He is and always has been an average player on the road, but he is Babe Ruth in Colorado.

    So you want to remove
    25 HR
    73 RBI
    86 Runs

    Plus 11 Quality Starts

    Then add
    17 HR
    58 RBI
    59 Runs

    How does that help?

Bailey is average? Have you looked at his recent road numbers?

I love him....but Dusty would bat him 5th and just couldn't take it.

When considering the home/away splits....let's remember to add that he plays a lot of his away games in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Fran....where OPS goes to die. CarGo is as good or better than Bruce in the OP and at the plate....Votto, Kemp, Braun....CarGo.

I would go Bruce, Stubbs and Ondrusek. To be more responsible....but I would still be happy if they added Bailey which would be a little much as it appears now.

CarGo is not on a big contract yet is he? He's gonna bring an insane contract here in the next year or two.

Bailey is above average so far this season and I see no signs of anything to be going down......but if others are mentioning CarGo's road numbers.......where has Homer pitched on the road recently and are they pitcher's parks? Strong lineups?....regardless he's been very good but they are factors.

This stuff has zero chance of happening.....maybe less.
