Does Descalso play a serviceable SS, Maggie?

Did this turn into a game thread somehow?

Cards have been scuffling too of late, their pitchers are starting to give up a ton of runs lately.

Not me. Cincy needs to AT LEAST take 2/3, but a sweep is really what is needed.

Don't be scared of the WLB's, the Reds WILL win this series.
Of course I WANT the Reds to win the series. Shoot, I want them to sweep! But just trying to keep my sanity in check a bit.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Seems weird to have this here. Just transfer it to a game thread I say. But whatever.

Dare we hope?!? Screw that! I wanna sweep!

    Time to beat-down some Redbirds!

Kosma in a deep funk, and DD hot as a pistol. I would think that Matheny would want all the offense he could muster as the Cards ALWAYS struggle after a huge run output game like last night.

You boys might want to check out this article on CBS sports. The Reds have an opportunity to take over the EOB Heavyweight Belt currently held by the Cards, and controlled by only NLC teams since the 1st week of the season. Only the Cubs and the Reds have failed to step up.

It's a just for fun thing, but worth a look I think.

Chapman should be well rested, as well. Was Monday the last time he pitched?
Come on man, gotta shake that loser mentality. Gotta take 2 here at home.

I do believe the Cardinal fans will have a place to post tonight. :O)

Let's keep it civil on BOTH sides guys. Root for your team, poke fun at the opposition...it's a game, not personal.

*crosses fingers* Hey, it's worth a shot.

Runaway trains eventually fly off the track and crash.

    Just sayin'....

Of course, we all WANT a sweep, I'm just trying to guard myself against a major letdown, coward that I am.

You and me both Maldez. I'm feeling fatalistic right now.

Was it good or bad that the first thing I saw when I walked outside this morning was a Cardinal on the deck railing?
