Bats lose. Stubbs finishes 0 for 5 and is 0 for his last 18.

Wow that is almost Taverasesque. Maybe the pressure of a possible call up is in his head

I'd rather see him struggle through the slump before he gets to Cincy.

I really hope Frazier and Heisey go to Louisville next week. Apparently there is a BA feature on Heisey coming up...
J.J. Cooper: I have a ton of good questions left but I need to write up a Chris Heisey feature for the next issue before heading home to watch the College World Series. I hope you all have a great weekend.

That's 4 games without a hit. Hardly reason to stop the presses.

Heisey is 0 for his last 9 and 3 for his last 23.

He's hitting .189 over his last 10 games.

I was really hoping for a Stubbs call up soon, but it looks like he has cooled off.

Lots and lots of strikeouts this month. 18 strikeouts in 80 June PA compared to 14 strikeouts in 214 PA in April and May.

Javier Valentin and Wily Mo Pena were released from the awful Buffalo Bisons today. Just sayin'.
