Salukifan, how do you think Carpenter has looked at second? He's looked good for someone who's new to the position. He was an infielder his whole career so the transition shouldn't be too difficult. The Cards need his bat in the lineup so they have to put him somewhere.

Hmmm - for some reason the thread isn't updating automatically for me anymore, have to constantly refresh.

How do I change it back? Anyone?

Bailey only has 55 entering the 5th. The Cards are swinging away pretty good too.

That's what I'm thinking. But Jay should have enough sense to realize a 2 out H&R is just crazy. Call for time, check with Hatch, do something to make sure that's the sign. Or the Reds need to simplify their signs.

Westbrook is one of those dudes who will occasionally throw a game like this, where the sinker is working and you just end up pounding the ball into the ground for 9 innings.

The admins have had to disable some things to figure out site problems. I'm sure that's one of them that's not available right now.

Have to start my journey home. Get some runs RZ! The way this game is going it will probably be long over by the time I walk through the front door.

Westbrook trying to bunt for a hit.

I'm still surprised I just typed that.
