    Fun story.

Pensacola lost 3-1. The last play of the game was an RBI triple by the Blue Wahoos in the bottom of the 6th inning.
Louisville lost 6-2. The last play of the game was an RBI triple by the Bats in the bottom of the 6th inning.

    Crazy.

The farm looks so much better this season so far compared to early last summer when it seemed only 1 or 2 guys were playing well anywhere. SMB, Arias, Waldrop, Winker, Berset, Daal, Lutz, Rahier, Elizalde, Barnhart, Silverio, Navarro - all have started hot. YRod and Ervin are about the only principal hitters who have started slowly. On the mound Contreras, Lorenzen, Moscot, Renken, Walczak, Lively, Moran, Pinckard, Weiss, Travieso, Somsen, Guillon, Chacin ad Josh Smith have all started with decent numbers. Only Holmberg and Corcino have started poorly. Guillon and Stephenson have been alright - not really great yet but they hve pitched okay for their first appearances. All in all the whole system seems to be in a different gear than last year.
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

Bit of an understatement for Stephenson, eh?

I don't think so. 11 Ks in 7 innings but 9 baserunners and 3 ER. Not really great but OK. The signs are there - the Ks, no HRs allowed but he isn't really sharp yet. Just wait. The best is coming.
