    Mo Egger

I don't listen to much radio at all, but found his show on today on 1530 ESPN for the first time, and listened to most of it. I was rather impressed. While he said some things I disagree with (i.e., he supports the DH), he seemed generally knowledgeable and fun to listen to. On the other hand, I listened to Doc Rogers on the way home from the game last week, and he didn't exactly seem the most intelligent about the Reds. But I'm looking forward to catching Mo again.

You must have missed his rant about his latest softball game and how competitive his opponent was. I don't care about his softball career.

I used to like Mo a lot less than I do now. Still wish he would talk more sports and less everything else, but he used to be real bad about that and is getting more sports talk in there. Not sure I agree with a lot of his reactions though.... he reminds me of a friend who thinks of the last oh, 3 days in terms of how he feels about a team or player.

Radio sports talk is only 1% about sports. Thats why I don't listen.

320, you mean Doc Rogers. I point that out only to defend the honor of Doc Scott, who is a very informative poster on the minor-league forum.

    My bad. I'll edit that.

Yeah he went on rather long about that...

But that's how sports/TV radio works. Everyone from Skip Bayless to the most liked talking head changes their mind every three days. It drives interest.

I'm a fan of Mo's show and tend to like his life chatter as much as the sports stuff. Similar personalities I guess. His softball rant was great, and completely spot on.

Mo Egger is a great listen. He's a good follow on twitter as well, for those of you who are interested in such things:

He is a good friend of mine. Aside from that he is good at what he does. He really is. His blog page is interesting for all and you guys don't know bad radio until you experience Columbus sports talk radio. Common man/Torg/speilman.... So bad so hideous

I don't get the chance to listen to Mo anymore but I do read his blog everyday. And while I also disagree with some of his views, he seems more level headed and not as quick to turn on someone as say, Lance. But Mo is a good listen and I really find the blog entertaining.

I can listen to Mo a whole lot easier than Furman, P Doc or Mark Amazon but his blog is nothing more than soft porn.
