Nationals Playing Mind Games Directed At Reds

The nats just announced that their fourth President to run a race during their 4th inning festivities will be none other than William Howard Taft. so what you say...consider this.

Taft WAS ROTUND, tipping the scales at over 300 lbs...AND...he was from Cincinnati.

If The Nats think they are gonna get away with calling the Reds fat...well...they've got another thing coming!

Seems to be mispointed anger/jealousy over not getting the 2015 All Star game.

Rizzo's response? "We deserve the damn All-Star game, I'll tell you that," he told the fans, who broke out in applause.

Charles Taft who was Williams brother owned the Cubs for three years.

The Nats are tempting fate if you ask me.

Grant was from not far away. The Reds ought to take him with them when they visit DC. He'd whip 'em all.

Taft got stuck in the White House bathtub. It took four guys and a tub of butter to get him out.

Grant has strong connections to St. Louis.

    He is evil.

It's not just that but they are trying to catch up to us in terms of mascots. They have closed the mascot gap.

Hey, if that's the standard, James K. Polk needs to be included so the They Might Be Giants song can be used.

More historically accurate, too, although Van Buren wasn't an abolitionist but was only opposed to expanding slavery.

Didn't Teddy Roosevelt finally win a race this season? Perhaps will beat him once this season, but thereafter I'm guessing that Roosevelt will always see that Taft loses.

I liked the twitter comment on this. "As if Taft ever ran for anything."
