This is pretty much over. Teahan singles in a run. 5-1 Royals.

The bad call on the double play was huge.

I actually though it was a good call. At least I don't know how anyone could argue strongly no matter how it was called.

    The first statement is true.

    So is the second.

    Neither is particularly applicable today.

Cueto's Ks are down a lot; not just a little bit. Today he's missing the plate a lot. Combine those two elements and it's not going to be pretty for Johnny.

Read the quote I was responding too. In that light, my response was dead-on.

His day would be going better if Hairston would stop giving the Royals 4 outs.

One error. They happen. Don't think one error required Cueto to throw 70 pitches through 3 innings. The kid's not got it today. Arrroyo didn't have it last night; Maloney Friday night.

Pitching was due for a bit of a correction.

Stop with the facts. That messes up alternate realities.

Ah, there we go. Back to the thesis. Like the sun rising in the east.

Go into last place KC, against their 3/4/5 starters, and get swept.

2 errors by Hairston including one that might have been an inning ending double play in the 1st inning.

Haven't posted in awhile: but have there been any studies done in the VORP area for this team in the past month or so? Almost at every postion it seems your getting replacement players the likes that have never been seen since the Strike. Their abilities at the plate are laughable.
