Good grief. Game olver. Laynce Nix -- why is he on this team?

Great AB by Nix and horrible baserunning by Nix.

Not that impressed with this Brewer closer...I'd just sit on FB or CB. Worst thing to do is to let him make you start guessing.

    0-2 count on Heisey.

If the Brewers beat you with 3 runs and Wolf starting there are major problems.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Heisey strikes out swinging. Reds lose 3-2.

    Major problem -- offensive baseball.

I'm worried for the first time all year. The offense is coming back to earth.

Reds a game out of first. It is truly sickening how many great pitching performances this team has wasted this year.

Was Wolf really dealing or was it another night of terrible approaches? I wasn't listening or watching.

Not to mention the stupidity of Arroyo throwing 2 meatballs to J.F. Edmonds

It doesn't matter that Nix ran into an out. Heisey wasn't going to drive him in anyway. This team just doesn't hit

Offense is an absolute mess. No helping that outfield or the top of the order. They could have went and acquired 5 Cliff Lee's and still win half their games.

Is it just me or does the last at-bat of a Reds loss end in a swinging strikeout a lot?

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou
