LOL i pointed that out on ORG about a week ago and was mocked since Billy Bates was thrown out in Game 1 of the NLCS in 1990.
I'll admit I wasn't crazy about the idea of having a one-dimensional player on a playoff roster. But after seeing just how ridiculously disruptive he is on the bases, now I'm coming around on that. I'd still like to see him get some plate appearances, though. I don't think it's good to have a guy only for pinch running. Still need him to be able to hit too.
