In no particular order, I get news from the internet (both several blogs and various internet news services and internet versions of traditional media), The Wall Street Journal, my local paper (solely for local news as its national coverage is a bad joke), several news weeklies/bi-weeklies, talk radio if I am driving, on occasion TV (but I only watch the traditional evening news programs about every three months or so).

I try to catch NPR whenever I can. Everything else seems all Anna Nicole (or whoever the celebrity/media sensation of the moment is) all the time.

Don't you get tired of having your country bashed hour after hour? We make mistakes but I sure don't think we're the devil that Olbermann makes us out to be.

Yep. It's why I don't listen to O'Reilly and Limbaugh.

Those guys don't bash the USA like Olbermann does. In fact I can find little in common among the three.

Yep. That's why I prefer to get my news from someone who only sings our country's praises...

    Well, now we're both confused.

I would respond to this appropriately, but I fear it would get this thread banished to the Peanut Gallery.

It sure is, so you sure as heck better not criticize our country or our government. That's just un-American.

We buy the NYT on the weekends. I read my local rag every morning, either in paper or online, whichever I happen to get to at work.

I listen to NPR in the mornings, and the local AM station once in a while.

I have a few feed searches set up for work related stuff.

Re: Where do you get your news?

Like others, I get mine from numerous sources. I haven't watched any of the mainstream nightly news shows in over 20 years.; but I bounce around from CNN, MSNBC, and Fox.

I read the newspaper daily. I usually take it to work with me. And I also like to read many on-line papers.

And I like watching The O'Reilly Factor and 60 Minutes. I'm smart enough to be able to show discernment on the material being disseminated.
