This is all kind of scary because I just realized this means my imaginary friend is still out there somewhere.

This is starting to remind me a little of that story of that girl pretending to work at ESPN and conning guys out of their twitter and Facebook accounts.

This would all be so much easier to follow if it didn't involve so many Polynesians. I am totally confused on what is a girl name, a boy name, etc....

Brian Kelly awarded the game ball after they beat Michigan to Kekua.

After they beat Pitt, he awarded it to the Easter Bunny
After they beat Navy, he awarded it to Santa Clause
After they beat USC, he awarded it to the monster that lives under my daughter's bed

And yet another story broken by Deadspin. I love Deadspin, but why is it they seem to break these other stories with a fraction of the resources of tradition print media? And the newspapers wonder why they are going out of business. If Watergate happened today it would have to be exposed by a blog...

I do not care if he is gay or not... or whatever. He is a LIAR. He used this story to get attention and it did not hurt his Heisman chances either. And if it is true that ND knew it was a hoax on Dec. 26 as is being reported, then they should have done the right thing.

Obviously we should wait for the truth. However, I do not expect it from Te'o or ND. Both have proven to me that attention and $$ is more important than the TRUTH. The whole thing is disgusting.

Can't you just imagine a Notre Dame football coach in the future giving the team an inspirational speech and asking the team to "win one for Lennay"?
I'm sure that Te'o still has a big NFL contract in his future but I also expect he will drop on draft boards. If I was the GM of a NFL team I would be having second and third thoughts about Te'o's mental makeup.
    Just bizarre.
