Oh I know man, just gets old all the complaining that is going on here. You would think we are in last place!

    Every run counts.

    Complain.

    Complain about the complaining.

Complain about the complaining about the complaining.

Agreed. This is why it's nice to have better hitters.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cozart out produces the Paul/Robinson platoon from now to the end of the season. And that's really the only alternative the Reds have for the #2 spot.

The issue isn't Cozart hitting second. The issue is Cozart getting base just 26% of the time.

Todd Frazier, Brandon Phillips, Jay Bruce, catcher of the day are also options. And much better ones at that.

Fact of the matter is you can't count on them bringing in better players. The truth is they aren't putting the guys that are on the team now in the best position to win.

There are ways now to score more runs with the guys they have now.

Yes. But again, if the worst thing we have to complain about is Dusty's lineups... Well...

My point is, the makeup of the roster should be of far more concern.

Acquiring more talent at this point in a season takes more than one willing party. Using the talent you do have in a better way takes nothing. One is a super easy fix. The other may be flat out impossible if no one is willing to deal.

Awesome that Dusty is using the 2013 Reds season to "teach" Cozart how to hit in the 2 spot. Really first-rate managing.

Dusty hasn't been given a lot to work with regarding the lineup.
    Batting Cozart 2nd is stupid.

Does anybody disagree with either of these? No? We all agree? Great. Lets move on.
