Actually, Dayton is low-A, Sarasota is high-A. He could make his debut in 2009, but they seem to be taking it slowly with him.

yeah i noticed i made the mistake and changed it.

i had hoped to see him start in AA this year.

i will be in florida for 2 days in july, i think i might catch a Sarasota reds vs lakeland tigers game.

i hope if i do go to see the game that wood gets to pitch in it.

You may get to see the "great" Johnny Cueto in that game as well!

Aronchis, he walked 3 guys in the 4th inning, before that he seemed pretty on with his stuff.
Strange thing in the 4th, a switch hitter turned around and hit left handed against Travis.... who is also a lefty. Not sure I have seen that one before.

Been there. It's ok. An old park that got a makeover. If you check out Daytona, it's an old park that has NOT gotten a makeover.

i had forgot about Johnny Cueto

either way if i got to see wood or Cueto, i would be happy.
but if they were both in AA before i get there in july, i wouldnt minde either.

we need one of the two to be in AA by the end of the year.

I think it'd be better if they both improved at amazing rates and went to AAA. Probably won't happen though.

they have taken there time with homer and i see no real reason to rush either one past AA this year.

if either one of the two can be up in the bigs by mid to late 2009, it will be a true credit to the reds farm system for developing pitchers. (starting with homer)
