Show me one pitcher who doesn't care about chalking up Wins. I hear sabre honks say it all the time, but I've yet to hear an actual pitcher say it. I never said wins are more important than some other stats. I just said the Reds offense cost Homer another W. I don't really think that's even debatable.
Sorry if I come off as steamed -- it's only because of the Reds offense -- but the condescending attitudes of some of the posters on this site makes it hard to enjoy this place at times. I guess I just don't get the thrill that comes with winning a message board argument. That's not directed at you personally, AR, as I like you as a poster.
