I agree completely, philosophically. I just can't seem to actually do it, though. I guess I'm just going to have to root for more sacks and missed FGs and such for all, and maybe a real heartbreaking ending for either.

Shame. Great pass from Sanchez for a TD.

    7-3, Jets.

That throw was so amazing even a Braylon Edwards could catch it.

Peyton tried to no-huddle, but the ref wouldn't put the ball down.

Colts don't get the TD, have to settle for FG.

    Peyton ticked at ref.

TD, Jets. Sanchez got one off before getting hit. Colts really need to get back in this, fast.

this serves the colts right for laying down to these guys. Bengals too. You have to give Ryan credit, he has out coached everyone of these guys thus far

Yup. This is karma biting back in a huge way. Lots of football left to be played, but, I hope this serves as a warning to teams in the future: play your games to win. Every one of them.

The Jets remind me of Liza Minelli.

They have the eerie power to cloud men's minds.

    48-yard FG for Feely.

    Not looking good.

    17-6, Jets.

it would be interesting if the Jets win in light of the fact that they would have knocked out the two teams that gave them a free pass at the end of the regular season.

It is a lesson. Play hard all the time. If you are playing to not get hurt, you will get hurt.

Then again, the Pats played to win and lost Wes Welker.

The present knows nothing of the past- there are no karma gods attacking the Colts right now. They're being outplayed, and it has nothing to do with resting starters.

Someone better tell Peyton Manning about that karma he just threw a TD.

2 great passes to Collie and the Colts get a TD!

Unfortunately, they chose not to go for 2, so they aren't within a FG, but still. They're comin' back!

Don't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back.

Impressive drive by the Colts when it looked like they were starting to play stagnant football. Good injection of emotion before the half.
