    Threads have been made about the Reds base running.....well in the second half they have 3 bad base running plays to 0.

    Personally, I think those are overplayed. If a guy traditionally struggles against one type, sure. Same for a pitcher who has extra success against certain handed hitters. But most pitchers don't have really violent splits but more moderate. In those cases...I stick with the hot hand.

    I didn't have that good a view on tv but it looked like a weak effort by me and I think Welch was saying the same thing. What's the downside in diving there?
