Bats are down 10-1. Not a good night for them.

Dayton is up 6-1. Sean Buckley is 2-3 with a double, HR and 3 RBI so far. Jacob Johnson had 5 shutout innings, but walked 4 and struck out just 2. Kyle Waldrop was pinch run for, so that might be something to look into later.

Billings is on Milb.tv tonight. No Winker or SMB though. And Idaho Falls has just a basic behind the plate camera set up. Still, might be worth checking out if you subscribe.

Carlos Sanchez just missed tying the Pioneer League record for triples. He doubled and apparently on the relay throw to third there was a bobble and an error was given.

Also in this game is one of Raul Mondesi's kids. This one is barely 17 years old (this is actually his age 16 season). He is hitting .285/.347/.369, which is incredibly impressive given his age and experience level.

Mustangs got 2 in the first. Sal Romano shut them down in the 1st. 2-0.

The Mustangs are beating up on the best pitcher in the Pioneer League. Sam Selman came into the game with this line: 5-1, 1.33 ERA, 47.1 innings, 16 walks, 73 strikeouts.

They are up 4-0 in the 2nd with 2 out.

    Louisville lost 10-1.

No box score needed, it was ugly.

Another double for Carlos Sanchez. That kid might be a hitter. He was very good his last year in the DSL (2010).

Would like to see him walk a little more or strike out a bit less, but the power seems to be playing quite well.
