    Good series

The legend of Lou Gehrig Jr. dies today when Cardinals nation realizes he's just scraptastic. I don't think he's going to Wally Pip Berkman anytime soon lol

Well, well, well. A win. glad to see you stranger. Gotta sweep the Cubs to have a .500 road trip.

What have we learned? The Reds can hit. Stubbs is not worthless. Ludwig is maybe the big bat we needed. Arroyo is our ace. Funny how things look so different after a win, isn't it?

I didn't know Beethoven was a middle of the order lineup hitter.

Looks like he'll get an extended chance. Berkman headed to the DL.

The second base situation and the Cardinals medical staff are the two huge points of criticism I have had about the Cards for years. Once again, instead of DLing a guy right off the bat, they trust the player and the player in turn makes it worse. This same damn thing happened last year with Holliday. Never trust a player to give the team a full medical diagnosis.

    From the movie Parenthood:

"You know, it was just so interesting to me that a ride could make me so frightened, so scared, so sick, so excited, and so thrilled all together! Some didn't like it. They went on the merry-go-round. That just goes around. Nothing. I like the roller coaster. You get more out of it. "

I think we're also witnessing further testimony to the notion that coming back from TJ surgery, even after a full year away, involves more than just regaining your arm strength.

The Reds have the classical giants: Ludwick von Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Cozart.

And the more recent, Romantic era Brandon Sousa Phillips.

haha I used to get on Cards fans all the time for calling him Ryan Ludwig rather by his real name Ryan Ludwick.

It's not just the Card's medical staff. Same story with the Reds. General rule, if they say it's just a strain and the player is day to day, prepare for season ending surgery. Lol
