For what it's worth Aroldis Chapman's 'girlfriend' Claudia Manrique was a teen model. Google Image Search her.
Wrong Claudia Manrique. This one is 26 years old. The teen model is still a teenager.

"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
The plot continues to thicken as Chapmans married girlfriend changes her story:

If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.
This all seemed to help his pitching...
"Rounding 3rd and heading for home, good night everybody"
Not all 6k would come from per diem. Maybe a 1/3. Chapman is still "new money" and it seems he likes to flash cash a bit. No problem with that. It's his money after all. MLB security needs to pay him a visit and make some suggestions to him on how to handle his business a bit better.
Aroldis seems to be a man boy in many ways. He is a mystery to many and is figuring this wide open lifestyle out for himself.
Cedric 3/24/08It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...
And so this little episode continues to play itself out. There was no man who claimed to be there to fix the toilet.

Well I'd say it's pretty obvious what led them to determine she was lying. They checked the tapes and there was no one who could have knocked on her doorPolice reviewed hotel surveillance video and questioned Manrique for several hours.
The Allegheny County district attorney's office has not said what led them to determine Manrique was lying about the robbery.

Apparently the woman lied about the incident:
