Which means he'll bat 2nd tomorrow

I thought Phillips had a homer there. I can't believe that ball stayed in the yard.

My thoughts on the offense - the potential is there for this offense to be above average. They are inconsistent which drives me crazy because I'm a big offense guy, but I do think this team has potential to do some damage with the bat. EdE is going to hit. Griff will hit, not like he used to, but he will hit. Phillips is starting to hit better. Freel had a big night. I like this team.

you'll know BP is swinging well when he gets some hits the other way.

His hits were on pitches right down the middle, when he takes some away pitches to right he'll start going in the right direction

I think we've learned a couple things from this short series:
    1. Hall is NOT a centerfielder...
    2. Dressens is NOT a big league pitcher
    3. attendance at GABP can't all be blamed on the weather...

This should be a good opportunity for Coffey to regain some confidence after yesterday's outing. Low pressure and high probability of success.
