    Man Gomes almost got hit by the throw back in then he almost got nabbed by Fielder. o-cab needs a big hit here.

    Gomes guilty of lack of hustle there. I love him as a player, but he may be reading too much of his own press. He could have had 2nd easy, but he inexplicably walked/jogged down the 1st base line.

    thats what brew tv said. i didn't see it like that. he got jammed, got a bad jump out of the box and knew he'd get gunned at 2nd.

    Maybe he couldn't have made it to 2nd, but he definitely could have gotten out of the box quicker. His 1st 3 or 4 steps were at a walk.

    Heisey walks on four pitches nowhere near the plate (after a called strike one) and Brandon swings at a first pitch out of the strike zone. Still it took a nice play by the Brewer's third baseman.
