They weren't intimidated at all about having to play the "big boys". Congratulations to the
    A's and O's.
I 2nd that....about Cards/Nats: I look for the Nats to get it done. Waino is gasses to the max, and Matheny is a bad pen handler if his starter is out before 8.

    It was a good run.

Don't rub anything in....24 outs left and they are the most fortunate team I've ever seen.

Matheny blew his chance last nite when he put in the worst 1st inning pitcher on the team in relief instead of Motte. Why do you think an 18 game winner was nor starting in the playoffs?!! MM forgot why he benched the guy!

There will be no NL Central rep in the WS.

I'm rooting for the Giants. If we had to lose, I want us to have lost to the best.

I don't believe in saying something & it traveling to the field & changing everything....Thought I would enjoy my moment....but hey, I know how lucky they are....If they haven't shut down Stras...the Cardinals would have had to mail their score in.....(& yes I know he had a bad Sept but he would have been great)

The Nats need to swing at strikes and hope the ump calls the balls, balls. Wainwright threw the last 9 pitches of the 1st out of the zone and got 2 Ks.

You can't assume that....the Cards have beat the brains out of the best guys in the league, and have been shut down cold by bums.

But they are not gonna get to Gio tonite. They are lost at the plate.
