Love your optimism though my friend. Seriously. You are good people.
If that team is the cards though I might be happy to play them in St. L the way they hit the ball in GAPB

    Hard to argue with that.

You've gotten worked up over every single game the Reds have played since you started posting here!

Cingrani takes the loss despite allowing only 2 hits and not a single earned run.

We're bad again. Win tomorrow and take the series.
Winning series when you have to jump over 2 of the best teams in baseball ain't going to do it. The Pirates and Cards are winning series as well. We need to go on an extended winning streak.

Winning series will do if the Cards and Pirates play .500 baseball here on out, but nothing shows they will do that.

We may disagree, but we're good bud.

And I still think we take the division FWIW. :O)

Perfect example of why wins and losses are a horrible stat to judge a pitcher on.

Jim Kelch "feels bad for Hannahan."

Aww. Nice thing for a Little League announcer to say about a kid who's feeling bad about making 3 errors.

Wait, he's talking about a grown man making $2 million per year? He FEELS BAD for him? Hahahaha! You can't make this stuff up. How about as the Reds' announcer you call a spade a spade and say what a joke it is that this guy is even on the team?

Hey Kelch, feel bad for the guy who is laid off and is having trouble feeding his family. Don't feel bad for some guy who is basically stealing $2 million per year from the Reds.

No you don't. We could bet on it, but I like you too much (and would never bet against the Reds).

amen!!! E.R.A.,walks to strikeouts, homeruns allowed. All 3 are in the hands of the pitcher. He can't control errors or runs his team has.

I also doubt that the Cardinals will plays .500 baseball the rest of the way, but I don't think we mean the same thing.

What has happened to you in life that makes you so mean about everything?

I mean, Hannahan has been a fairly high regarded fielding 3rd basemen for quite a long time. I take no solace in the fact he had a terrible game tonight, especially fielding. The guy has made a career on that, and earned his right to making some decent money.

Yes, I feel bad for him tonight, as I'm sure he was quite embarassed in what was a pretty unusual performance from him. No Hannahan is not a great player, but he's certainly been a proven defensive commodity over his career that he certainly doesn't deserve to be deemed "a joke" that the guy is even on a major league roster.

Hannahan has no business on an MLB roster, IMO. He's a Triple-A player.

Bateman, so surprising you would take a personal shot like "What's happened to you in life." Nice work there. I'm sure you would say some BS like that to someone's face.
