Former All-Star Dave May passed away today. *sigh* Long battle from diabetes and cancer. He was a favorite of mine from the early 70's brewers. RIP.

Been a while since anything has been posted here - must have been a healthy year for older ballplayers...
One-time Bosox and Brewers slugger George Scott died.

Always liked George Scott. Former Cubs pitcher Frank Castillo drowned over the week-end. He was only 44. RIP.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
I never saw Scott play much because he was in the AL but I always liked him. Big power hitter that came up with the Red Sox and played mostly with the Brewers,IIRC.
For Frank Castillo, I'm coming up a blank for him. I remember the name but that's about it. Just too many players to remember after follwong baseball for over 40 years.

Jerry Coleman has died. He was 89. He was a HOF broadcaster for the Padres. He was also a very good player for the Yankees in the 50's. Last but not least he was a very distinquished and decorated Marine during his time in WWII. RIP Jerry Coleman

He also said Rick Folkers is throwing up in the bullpen
If any of you ever play Out of the Park, Jerry Coleman lines are one of the best things about the loading screens. The man said some funny stuff. My favorite is
"He hits his head on the wall. And now it's rolling towards the infield."
also Dave Winfield slides into second with a stand up double
It's been a while since we've posted anything here. A friend posted this on Facebook today, from the Washington Post - Connie Merrero, oldest living MLB player died in Cuba, nearly 103 years old.
