Don't let a dive fool you, that alone does not mean it was a good/great catch.

To Stubbs making those plays easily....he may have made them all (strongly doubt it)....but don't act like he makes any of them easily.

    1. That's just speculation on your part.

    2. So what. We still could have traded him for somebody who can get the job done.

Jesus people.....he had absolutely zero chance at catching that ball in the air. Anyone that has a DVR....rewind it and see. Young Andruw Jones....maybe, but doubtful.

Please tell me the one that wasn't a great catch and please do not say the ball in the sun on the first play of the game that day.

So in your opinion their defensive skills are equal or Hi-C > Stubbs?

That is a fair point. I'm not questioning his effort, just don't think he got a good jump on it and kind of bailed out too soon.

I agree strongly. I hate umpires that want to be the show.....man he knows everyone is watching. That Ludwick crap was complete baiting on Angel's part.

Good lord, that 2nd strike to Votto was 5 inches off the dirt.

Stubbs has been better this year, but he's not real good at coming in on fly balls.

His refusal to go head first hurts him in that regard.

I questioned Bruce a few games back going towards the line and he slowed up 2 steps early and the ball hit 5-10 feet closer than Heisey's.....no one went with me.

Like him better coming in than the hard-hit ball right at him. Still has horrible footwork on those.
