Is this the UK thread?

GEORGETOWN - The bond will remain unchanged for a former Scott County High School basketball player accused of trafficking in a controlled substance.
Jonathan "Bud" Mackey, 18, appeared in Scott County Circuit Court on Monday. He was arrested Sept. 28, charged with possessing 1.6 grams of rock cocaine in his shoe at school. Mackey was released on $10,000 bond the day after he was arrested.
Mackey is attending school in Cincinnati.
Mackey was named most valuable player at the Sweet 16 tournament last year when Scott County won the state boys' high school basketball championship.
A pretrial conference is scheduled for 9 a.m. May 5 in Scott Circuit Court.
I wonder if either the prosecutor or the judge in Mackey's case is a UK fan... that may help.

1.6 grams at age 17 in Butler County, Ohio... hmmmmmm... if he didn't test positive for use, I'd say you're about right... maybe 6 months local time depending on the judge. Maybe less if he was just a mule and would rat.
Wonder if his probation would prevent him from traveling out of state, to say... basketball games... like a normal probationer's would.

Wily -- Will Jared Carter be a Georgetown Tiger next year? Could he play for them???
