    Scott's 2009 Year-End CD Compilation

Hi there. I do this every year- I think this is the third or fourth year I've advertised it on this board. So if you want a package sent to you absolutely free of charge, PM me your address.

If you're a big iTunes lover, there will be a downloadable version that includes a big fistful of mp3-only bonus tracks. (Also just like last year.) So you're better off with that if you've advanced to 2001 technology-wise.

I'll post the Mediafire links automatically when the comp is done in a couple of weeks.

Otherwise, I look forward to your PMs. If you've gotten one of these in the past, feel free to characterize the music taste in this thread for those who might be new to the project.

    Happy holidays!

I'm curious to hear the music styles!
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

Scott, I was just listening to your 2007 mix a few days ago and wondering if you did one for this year. This cat really knows his music guys, I highly recommend it. Well, assuming you want a recommendation from a guy with "Pornstache" in his name.

You might be interested to know that the Sword and Black Mountain were on last year's comp. Unfortunately, the ladies (who are fifty percent or more of the audience) do not so much dig the metal as I.

Looking at an ETA of Wednesday for the digital version of this year's comp. 48 tracks plus 29 bonus. You won't want for music for a few weeks at least.

Mailings will leave Portland on the same day. So you should have them before the New Year.

    What's this year's playlist?
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

I can vouch for Doc Scott's year-end mixes...I have them for the last three years, I think, and I love them. Truly eclectic stuff and always a few brand-new (to me) gems that I fall for. He does a fantastic job.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Physical packages- including one to Canada- went out this morning. You should receive them sometime between Christmas and New Year's, I'm guessing.
