Since each of these series only have two games each I figured I'd kill two birds with one thread.
What are the pitching probs for these series?

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou
Or I could've just posted the link, instead of copying things over.

Would be nice to see them take 3, or even all 4 games. Very doable IMO.

Interesting matchup. Young, successful control pitcher @ young, successful fireballer.Yahoo Sports has Hanson going for Atlanta on Thursday.

The Tuesday Brewers, and Thursday Atlanta games will not be on FS Ohio, BUT the Thursday game will be a MLBN matinee game, with the Braves broadcasters I guess. I see no reason it would be blacked out, but you never know.

I'm going to try to go to both Braves games. Especially want to see the Leake/Hanson game.
Reds have quite a bit of success vs. Gallardo:

The Reds averaged roughly 14,000 for 2 night home games vs the Mets earlier this month on a Monday/tuesday night. this was coming off a successful road trip (though after lossing the last 2 to St Louis) The weather is going to be crappy tonight, but some weatherperson was predicting that they'll be able to get both games in today and tomorrow, meaning it won't be terrible.
Anyhoo, I'm wondering what the fan reaction is going to be in terms of attendance. Will they get a push up to the 20k range? Will the weather hold some people back? Will the well attend series vs the Cards keep some folks home that went over the weekend, or will those that didn't go find a renewed interest and decide to attend tonights game? Will the fact that the team is about to go on the road spark some fans to catch one more game before the leave town? I'm sure Bob and company will be watching the attendance tonight w/ an eye towards thinking if they can expand the payroll later in the season w/o hurting the bottom line, which I think makes a small side note to tonight's action.
The Braves announcers were hyping that Leake-Hanson matchup for Thursday during yesterday's telecast on Fox Sports South.
They were actually gushing about the Reds several times during the game, talking about their being a big surprise and their pitching carrying them into first place (as they were noting the big lead over the Cardinals in real time).
I'm very fascinated by the game Thursday. Schedule permitting, I'm going over to watch the game.
I've seen Hanson twice this year in person. The kid is simply amazing.
