Nobody else I'd rather see get the game-winning hit, after how he's struggled this past month.

Technically, I think Bruce only gets credit for a single but we all know it would have been a double.

Houston paraded six pitchers to the mound. Once I saw Lyon was pitching the ninth, I had a gut feeling the Reds were going to win this game. There's no way Lyon was coming out - if the game had remained tied, Houston could have run out of pitchers in extras.

As it turned out, Lyon couldn't even get a single out. It's great to have closers like Ryan Franklin (former closer) and Brandon Lyon in the NL Central. Say what you want about CoCo, but I'd take him seven nights a week and twice on Sunday over either of those two.

The million dollar question of the whole 2011 season so far.

That's what's so frustrating sometimes since we know they can do this.

And mine. Sure do wish people would quit quoting him, though.

you'd like to think this type of win would give us some momentum, but it didnt work after Saturday nights game. Hopefully it starts us on a nice streak...

Could be. ESPN Gamecast showed it as a double. I think maybe since the runner started off from 2nd, that Bruce could technically get a double which would've "forced" the runner to score, but I'll admit to not knowing a lick about how that type of end of game scoring works.
