Frazier is both a throwback and throwbat player.

That ball was on the ground when Frazier hit it. Amazing.

He's really been struggling at the plate the last few weeks.

For a lot of Reds' hitters there is no middle ground.

so uh, when do we get Ludwick back? This offense might look a fair amount better with a post-AS break Ludwick in the clean-up spot.

That and someone, anyone, who can actually hit from the lead-off position.

Interesting point here by Thommy B and Welsh. Let's start Arredondo against the Cards in a few days.

That's not their point, to start Arredondo btw. They were saying it might be difficult if they face the Cards in the first round, when they just got a look at Latos and Arroyo.

Won't the Reds hitters see the Cardinals' pitchers back to back?

Latos has turned into a stud from earlier in the season.

If this year's playoffs weren't Seliged and they played 2-2-1 with an extra day off,
Cueto and Latos would have started 4 of the potential 5 first round games.
