    Regardless of the outcome of this game, the decision to start Reynolds was indefensible.

    65 plate appearances since

    So basically before tonight, he'd given up a grand total of two extra base hits against RHB in the last 65 batters.

    We are in agreement, although I might say the decision was "probably unwise."

    I think the Reds saw some slippage with Latos and wanted to give him the extra two days off. That's the only explanation that makes sense to me.
