The repeated "Big Red Machine this" or "The BRM did it differently" references are more annoying that anything else.

I watch baseball for entertainment. I like to watch my team appear like they are enjoying the game, having fun, and excited to win. More celebrations please.

If they weren't exciting you all would be complaining that they didn't care enough. I like celebrations, and of all the things possible to complain about with the Reds lately this would be way far down my list.

I have no evidence, but I firmly believe that mlb and the player's union got together and agreed on something. And that something was that each team was to treat every single walk off win with a reaction befitting a World Championship celebration as a means to stoke excitement about the game. And, I don't think there is anything at all wrong with that. If you subscribe to the mlb alerts, they are constantly hyping every Bryce Harper ab, minor league promotion or web gem on a given night and it comes off as pretty corny and phony most of time. Most people only have that kind of passion for their own teams. The post game celebrations can come off as disingenuous sometimes because I think they actually are. But I still think it is fun if the Reds are on the winning side of it, like last night.

The last thing I want is for the team I root for to show joy. I want them to react to each moment like its the end of Old Yeller. Anything else is an abomination.

I love the celebrations, secret handshakes, bat licking, home run trots, arguing calls, etc. glad the Reds are doing it, baseball needs more of it.

I’m kinda curmudgeony too even though I’m softening up but maybe a win against the Marlins should be more low key but when you beat the stupid Cubs you gotta go big....I hope we see an even bigger celebration today....as a matter of fact I’d follow them to the airport and act stupid on the tarmac

I don't mind that. I think the bat flips are more annoying than anything else. I can't stand when NFL players stand over players and stare at them. I can't stand when basketball players do a celebration after every shot they hit. And I can't stand the bat flips.

But, that's part of today's culture and nothing's going to change it so whatever.
