8/15- Reds vs. Marlins, "Going for the sweep"

Bit of a Sunday special, with Bruce moving to the 2-hole, and Miggy in at 3rd. Bailey called up, Francisco sent down, also.

    I'll probably do some PBP.

I don't like Edmonds for Stubbs. For the love of God, put him in left and sit Gomes. I love Bruce in the 2 hole though.

Seems a bit risky for the Reds to try and go the next 2 weeks with Cairo as the only backup IF. Is Cabrera coming back soon?

They're only a phone call away. Just need to confine the double switching to the OF.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Lineup is fine, except Gomes has to start justifying hitting cleanup or fifth. Wouldn't have been surprised to see Nix again, who is better defensively and has been hitting better lately.

Except that phone call can't be made until after the game, and Francisco can't come back up for 10-days unless a position player is DLed.

Lets just hope that neither BP or Janish tweaks anything.

Cario can fill in for both and Razor can fill in at 3rd/1st.

I'd be really scared to see Ramon playing third base. He's only ever played one inning there in his entire career.

    Hey! It could be fun...

Just like LaRue playing RF a few years back or Janish pitching

Ramirez goes down swinging to start the game.

Fay reported that Heisey is the emergency infielder. He's been working out there for awhile.
